What is a LifeGroup?

LifeGroups are small groups of people who meet regularly to share life together. Great! Sign me up!

Wait?

What does it mean that we would “share life together?”

We meet regularly to study the Bible, pray, talk about life, and hang out together.  It’s a process where we establish meaningful relationships with other people.  We laugh with one another and share news of the good things that have happened to us.  We play together on occasion.  We depend on one another at those times when things look bleak.  These aren’t expectations…these are the natural instincts we have because we live in close friendship with others.  LifeGroups create an opportunity to develop that kind of community and relationships.

The people in your LifeGroup aren’t necessarily people just like you…but they are people whom you grow to love.

Though we don’t have predetermined schedules, a typical evening at a LifeGroup might look like this:

7:00 p.m. – Meet at the home of someone from your group (or another location like Starbucks); talk together while munching on some snacks

7:20 p.m. – Pray together

7:30 p.m. – Study the Bible in a way that is interactive, leaves room for discussion, and helps us deal with life

7:45 p.m. – Laugh a lot as we continue to study

8:00 p.m. – Be challenged as we learn something new about God, how much He loves us, and His plan for us all

8:15 p.m. – Plan an event together to make an impact in the community or to just have fun.

8:30 p.m. – Say goodbye until the next gathering

We think that LifeGroups are vital to helping us grow in our relationship with God as we grow in our relationship with others around us.

Contact us if you are intrigued and would like to talk further about connecting with others in a LifeGroup!
