LifePointe Christian Church
Our name reflects our Goal of bringing Life to people and people to Life in Christ. We firmly believe “Whatever Your Point in Life … Jesus Christ is the Point of Life.” In John 10:10 (The Message) Jesus said, “... I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.”
OUR PURPOSE:
To Love God and Love Other People Just Like Jesus Did
Until They Love God and Love Others Like Jesus Did.
We incorporate the five biblical purposes of the church into everyday life: Worship, Evangelism, Fellowship, Discipleship, and Ministry. Everything springs from loving God like Jesus loved God and others. We love God through worship and service in His name. We love others through sharing the news of salvation with them; nurturing them when they receive Christ as Savior and Lord; teaching and helping them mature as a Christian until they in turn do the same for other people; and by ministering as a church to all who are in need. Our goal is life-change through every stage of life.

Be an Intergenerational Christian Community
Our goal for the church is to reflect the demographic makeup of the high growth community in Upper James City County (Toano, Norge, Lightfoot, northern James City County) by reaching all age segments of the community through our ministries. There has never been a day like today when the church has been positioned to pull the generations together in Christ.

The Culture We Will Offer To the Community
The Authority of the Bible
Jesus is the “Life Source.” The Bible is the “Truth Source” about Life. The Goal of all teaching and preaching is Life Change -- helping people experience real life that comes only from Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible. The practical is preferred over the academic, and functional over the theoretical.
Personal Growing Relationship with Christ
Knowing God intimately and helping others take one step closer in getting to know Him intimately. A special goal is to encourage them to let God help them accomplish things they never thought they could do. These are priorities of every activity and ministry.
Evangelism through Authentic Personal Relationships
God’s message is most clearly and consistently spread in the atmosphere of transparent personal friendships. We foster a friendly, welcome, safe environment in all ministries where all people can pursue God openly.
An Intergenerational Congregation
Our goal is to reach all age segments of the community with every ministry reflecting the demographics of the North Williamsburg- upper James City County area. We desire to encourage a close connectedness among the many different cultures within the community.
A Climate That Is Relevant
Each level of ministry should be determined by the unique culture of the people living in the community. Special target groups will be men, students thru the 20’s (born 1977-1998), children & their parents, and “Boomers” (born 1946-1964).
Worship That Is Interactive
Worship, as a welcoming point for new friends and an accent point on Christ, is informal, friendly, interactive, family-centered, creative, fresh, and fun.
Strategic Use of Spiritual Gifts
An assimilation process based on spiritual gifts helps to plug people into ministries that will energize them and effectively use their energy to serve others.
Intentional Mentoring
All members are encouraged to connect with new believers and intentionally guide them into a healthy, close relationship with Christ to the point where they will become mentors. A long-term goal is leadership development through mentoring in all areas of church life, especially in training elders.
A Creative Environment
Imagination, originality, and excellence are essential and expected in all ministries while at the same time not sacrificing other core values.
An Outreach-Focused Heart for the Community
Underlying every outreach ministry and community event is the desire to give and serve instead of receiving. LifePointe Christian Church desires to serve as a conscience of the community. We also are a supporting and a sending church.
